面肌痉挛（hemifacial spasm，HFS）是一种非恶性功能性神经外科疾病，表现为一侧面部不自主抽搐，多从眼轮匝肌开始，继而进展至整个面部，故对患者的社交方面带来极大的困扰。原发性HFS主要病因为血管压迫面神经脑干段（root exit zone，REZ）致其运动核兴奋性增高，该病治疗方法为微血管减压术（microvascular decompression，MVD），局部肉毒素注射、口服药物、针刺疗法亦具有不同程度的疗效。近年来越来越多的研究提示HFS患者的脑白质结构存在异常，弥散张量成像（diffusion tensor imaging，DTI）是一种无创检测脑白质完整性的方法。文章就DTI及治疗方面对HFS的研究进展进行综述。
