本研究通过对比研究保留和去除段氏层的离体角膜在相同条件下的水化状态变化，探索段氏层的生理屏障功能。使用改良的OCT测量方法，对3枚离体角膜进行分组实验。结果显示，去除段氏层组平均厚度变化率为-10.98%±7.67%，保留段氏层组为14.46%±5.24%，差异具有统计学意义（p<0.001）。初步结果提示段氏层可能具有特殊的屏障作用。
