以水为介质的单侧双通道内镜技术（unilateral biportal endoscopic，UBE），通过两个独立的通道，一个操作通道和一个观察通道完成手术操作，使术中镜下的视野和操作灵活性大大增加，为手术操作提供了更多的可能。从传统开放式外科手术向全内镜外科技术实现了革命性转变。对UBE技术发展历程、临床应用、今后发展方向等方面进行回顾与展望。UBE技术的适应范围随着技术的发展不断扩大，手术的安全性和有效性也明显提高，在治疗腰椎管狭窄症等腰椎退行性疾病有其独特的优势。在不远的将来，UBE技术与人工智能的结合与不断发展，使得其更加智能化、精确化、个性化，将进一步提升手术效果。
