近年来，第二语言习得领域的动机研究日益发展。调节模式理论（Regulatory Mode Theory）作为动机心理学的重要理论，新近作为二语动机研究的重要理论。本文梳理了调节模式理论核心观点，并综述其在二语学习动机研究中的最新应用。调节模式理论与二语动机整合，有助于探讨二语学习策略选择、动机行为、情绪调节与文化适应等方面作用机制，并提出未来研究发展方向。
