Aesthetic education as an important component of quality education, is an important way to cultivate students' mind and behavioural beauty, and has an unignorable role in the comprehensive quality and enhancement of students. College students are the future pillars of the country, in colleges and universities to carry out aesthetic education, not only can cultivate students' artistic qualities, shaping the personality of beauty, but also help students to achieve lofty ideals, and promote the development of socialist spiritual civilisation and build a harmonious society has an indispensable value. In this paper, we will briefly explain the current situation of college students' aesthetic education, and explore the innovative ways of college aesthetic education in the new era.
