In university English teaching for media majors, incorporating Chinese storytelling can help students better understand Chinese culture and the characteristics of the media industry. By telling Chinese stories, students can develop their intercultural communication skills and improve their competitiveness in the international media field. In addition, students can improve their media literacy and social responsibility by analyzing media reports and ethical issues in Chinese stories. Teachers can continuously optimize their teaching methods and improve their teaching quality through teaching practice and effect evaluation to achieve better teaching results. By exploring such teaching paths, students’ comprehensive ability development can be promoted, so that they can have stronger competitiveness in the media industry.
