文章摘要
Computational methods are a fundamental course for most engineering students, which combines the abstraction of mathematics with practical problems and focuses on cultivating students’ ability to analyze and solve problems. In response to the goals and positioning requirements of talent cultivation in application oriented university, this article aims to cultivate students’ mathematical, scientific, engineering, and computational abilities. A teaching reform measure of “integrating background, analyzing ideas, multi-dimensional expression, and multi-level training” has been proposed in terms of teaching content and methods. Measures to improve the teaching effectiveness of computational methods, such as student-centered approach, stimulating and cultivating student interest in learning, and improving course assessment methods, have been summarized.
