In the current trend of global integration, the interaction and integration of cultures around the world are constantly strengthening, which has attracted increasing attention to the uniqueness and traditions of various cultures. As a treasure in the treasure trove of Chinese culture, Chinese folk music carries a wealth of historical and cultural heritage, and has unique aesthetic and educational value. However, in modern development, especially in the field of preschool education, these musical treasures have often not been fully explored and utilized. Preschool children who are in a critical period of development have a strong ability to feel and imitate music. Integrating folk music into education is crucial for them to establish their national cultural identity, cultivate musical aesthetics, and innovate their thinking. Therefore, studying specific strategies that combine folk music with early childhood music teaching is not only beneficial for the protection and inheritance of ethnic culture, but also for the comprehensive growth of children and injecting new vitality into music education. In addition, with the reform of teaching methods and the refreshing of educational concepts, how to effectively combine traditional folk music with modern educational methods to respect the laws of children’s growth has also become a key issue that preschool music education needs to solve.
