文章摘要
The concept of place-based education emphasizes on exploring educational content that aligns with local characteristics. Rural schools, with their unique rural cultural environment, play a significant role in implementing place-based education. Student homework, as an integral part of teaching, should incorporate place-based characteristics. When carrying out reforms in place-based homework management, rural schools should adapt to the demands of the times and be localized. This can be achieved through strategies such as incorporating “place-based elements” into homework content, emphasizing “place-based practices” in homework formats, and promoting “place-based research” in homework evaluation. By effectively playing the roles of homework's functions and roles, rural schools can improve the implementation of place-based education and facilitate the holistic growth of their students.
