This paper discusses the reform and innovation ways of physical education teaching in colleges and universities under the background of information technology, and focuses on the practical strategies of constructing mixed learning mode, innovating teaching evaluation mechanism and promoting teacher professional development. Through the combination of classroom and online interactive platform, the hierarchical design of teaching content is realized, which not only broadens the time and space boundary of learning, but also improves the interaction and interest of teaching. This paper further puts forward the method of analyzing students' performance with big data and the construction of diversified evaluation system, aiming at promoting students' all-round development by comprehensively evaluating students' comprehensive ability.
