It is found that there are obvious deficiencies in professional knowledge, teaching skills and scientific research ability of young teachers in private colleges and universities, which restrict their professional development. The article further analyzes the deep-rooted reasons, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions such as strengthening the training of young teachers, perfecting the evaluation mechanism and optimizing the development environment. It is hoped that this study can have some reference value for promoting the professional development of young teachers in private colleges and universities and improving the quality of private higher education.
