With the changing times and the continuous advancement of economic globalization, economic and cultural exchanges between countries in the world have become increasingly frequent. However, in recent years, changes in the world economic structure have also led to increasingly severe collisions and conflicts between different countries, races, and ethnic cultures. Ethnic culture, as the symbol and soul of a country, is an important component of international competitiveness in international social competition and plays an irreplaceable role in international exchanges. Therefore, this article will briefly discuss the impact and significance of Chinese ethnic culture and international cultural exchanges under the background of globalization. Taking film art, one of the important carriers of cultural expression, as an example, this article will explore the current status of China's cultural exchange work with other countries in the world, analyze the problems existing in international cultural exchanges under the background of globalization, and propose feasible improvement strategies to address these issues. The aim is to provide effective references for promoting the smooth development of international exchange work and achieving the goal of economic globalization.
