With the advent of the Internet era, the concept of "Internet plus" is deeply integrated with various industries, and has become a way of thinking to guide the development of various industries. The application of "Internet plus" thinking mode in college English teaching can not only help teachers improve teaching efficiency, but also cultivate language talents who adapt to the Internet environment, promote industries to conform to the development trend of economic globalization, and improve the efficiency and level of economic development. In view of this, based on the concept overview and significance analysis of the "Internet plus" mode of thinking, this paper focuses on exploring the strategies of college English teaching practice under the "Internet plus" mode of thinking from four aspects of educational infrastructure construction, resource integration, method innovation and online teaching, hoping to provide reference for college English teachers.
