A Study on Students’ Engagement in the OBE Evaluation System of University English Courses in Local Universities

With the deepening of Education reform, the teaching evaluation system of university English courses in local universities has gradually shifted from the traditional teaching evaluation mode to the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) evaluation mode. As an important part of the evaluation system, Students’ engagement is of great significance to improve teaching quality. This paper takes the university English courses of local universities as the research object, discusses the relevant issues of Students’ engagement in the OBE evaluation system, and aims at providing theoretical support for improving the quality of English teaching and students’ comprehensive quality.
