In recent years, many scholars in China have paid attention to the issue of teachers' competence in international schools, but most of them have studied the competence of teachers in international schools from a comprehensive perspective, and the results of research and constructing a model of teachers' competence in international schools are not common. In addition to teaching, international school teachers are also responsible for cultivating students' intercultural, communication and cooperation skills, so it is necessary to study their competence. In this study, the dimensions and elements of international school teachers' competence were explored using literature, Delphi and statistical methods, based on which a six-dimensional model of international school teachers' teaching competence was constructed and analyzed. The model can be used as a reference and inspiration for international schools in the selection and recruitment of teachers, teacher training, evaluation of teachers' teaching performance and the self-development of international school teachers.
