Abstract: Confucius discusses and elaborates on the concepts of "learning" and "eager learning" multiple times in the Analects, highlighting the significant role of "eager learning" in his path to self-cultivation. This paper explores the specific definition and importance of "eager learning" by examining three "eager learners" in the Analects, aiming to appreciate the significant and ever-lasting value of Confucian thought.
