Abstract: This paper explores the significance of cultural integration in English language teaching and its impact on students' intercultural communicative competence and language learning outcomes. The study analyzes the relationship between language and culture, emphasizing that language learning involves not only skill development but also an understanding of cultural contexts. Through a review of the literature, the paper proposes a framework and strategies for integrating culture into English teaching, including curriculum design, teaching methods, and assessment mechanisms. Practical case studies demonstrate that cultural elements in textbooks, classroom activity design, and teachers' cultural competence play critical roles in successful cultural integration. Feedback from students and teachers indicates that cultural integration not only enhances learning interest and language comprehension but also improves intercultural sensitivity and adaptability. Despite its effectiveness, teachers still face challenges in selecting cultural content and balancing instructional time. The paper suggests that future research should focus on optimizing cultural integration strategies and providing more resources and support for teachers.
