Research on the Quality Evaluation of the Integration of Industry and Education in Applied Undergraduate Colleges under the CIPP Model

Abstract: In the transformation and development of higher education, it is crucial for applied undergraduate colleges to implement the education strategy of integrating production and education. Evaluating the quality of education through integration of production and education can effectively identify and solve key problems in the process of education through integration of production and education, and then improve the quality and efficiency of talent cultivation. Based on the CIPP theory, this study constructs a quality evaluation system for integration of production and education. Using the entropy weight-TOPSIS method, a quality evaluation of integration of production and education is carried out on 10 application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities in Guangdong Province that are pilot institutions for transformation. The research results show that Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and Guangdong Pharmaceutical University perform excellently in the evaluation and rank among the top three. The evaluation results show that the three colleges and universities have a relatively high quality level in education through integration of production and education, providing exemplary examples for other application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities.
