Abstract: With the acceleration of globalization and the continuous advancement of the scientific and technological revolution, mathematics education is no longer a basic discipline in the traditional sense, but has turned into a key force to promote the construction of the national innovation system. In this context, colleges and universities, as the main position of mathematics education, undertake the important mission of cultivating students' mathematical literacy, stimulating innovative thinking, and enhancing practical ability. In order to adapt to the needs of the times, we need to start from the practice management, strengthen the construction of faculty, optimize the curriculum system, and ensure the scientific aspects and effectiveness of the educational achievements through a diversified evaluation mechanism. Therefore, this paper discusses the practice management and effect evaluation system of mathematics education in colleges and universities, in order to provide reference for specific educational practices.
