Abstract:The age of big data brings changes to all walks of life, of which the area of education is no exception. Modern educational reform is putting more emphasis on the development of modern technology, and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is therefore drawing more attention. The widespread use of the internet personally in education, health, business and other private sectors makes it important for individuals to be aware of the digital media environments and become literate in digital media. The current study aims to investigate the status quo of college students, especially future teachers’ data literacy in China, figuring out the problems and seeking promotion strategies.
