In this paper, the foreign language core journal literature on peer interaction in university classroom collected by CNKI in recent ten years is used as the data source, and the research methods, research contents and influencing factors of these literatures are summarized. The research results show that the research methods of peer interaction are varied, mainly the mixed research method which combines quantitative and qualitative methods. In addition, the research contents and influencing factors involved are relatively rich, mainly learner engagement and task types. Finally, the paper points out the future research direction and development trend of peer interaction.
