The blended learning model combines the advantages of traditional face-to-face teaching and online courses, making it an ideal approach to enhance teaching effectiveness in the information age. Based on a review of the current research status, this study uses a questionnaire survey to understand the current state of English news listening teaching. It applies the blended learning model to English news listening teaching, leveraging online platforms, and constructs a blended learning model for university English news listening that integrates online and offline components in three stages: pre-class, in-class, and post-class.
