With the rapid development of information technology, cloud computing has become an important technology driving educational informatization. This article aims to propose an advanced collaborative development strategy for a university management information system (UMIS) based on cloud computing. This article first analyzes the current needs of educational informatization, explores the application prospects of cloud computing technology in UMIS, and elaborates in detail on the principles, architecture, and functional modules of system design. This article adopts agile development methods and DevOps practices, introduces continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, and demonstrates the practical effects of the proposed strategy. At the same time, this article also discusses the importance of data security and privacy protection, and proposes a series of risk assessment and management measures. The research results provide higher education institutions with a scalable, flexible, and secure UMIS solution, which helps improve teaching quality and management efficiency.
