As technological advancement accelerates, the field of technical education faces the challenge of efficiently cultivating talent that meets future job market demands. This paper aims to explore how predictive analytics can be applied in technical education to optimize complex skill development patterns and career path planning. Through literature review and case study methods, the paper first outlines the evolution of technical education and its current challenges. It then details the theoretical foundation of predictive analytics, including its definition, types, and current applications in the field of education. Furthermore, the paper delves into the conceptual framework of complex skills, analyzing their impact on individual career trajectories. Building on this, a predictive analytics-based skill development model is proposed and validated through empirical research. Finally, the practical implications of the findings are discussed, along with recommendations for future research directions. This paper not only provides a new perspective for technical education but also offers a scientific methodology for career path planning.
