The integration of ideological and political education (IPE) into college English courses has become a prominent educational trend in China. This paper explores the challenges and solutions involved in implementing IPE in college English from the perspectives of Chinese educators. Through a qualitative analysis of educators' experiences, the study identifies key challenges, including balancing ideological content with language instruction, insufficient teacher training, and a lack of relevant resources. The paper also offers practical solutions, such as curriculum design modifications, professional development opportunities, and collaboration among educators, to effectively integrate IPE into English teaching. The findings aim to provide insights for educators and policymakers seeking to enrich college English courses with ideological and political content.
