In the context of globalization, regional and national education reforms are facing new development opportunities and challenges. With the continuous deepening of globalization, education reforms in various countries have gradually shown distinct regional characteristics. The driving mechanism of educational reform is driven by the level of economic development and deeply influenced by changes in social structure. The demand for regional and national education reforms continues to rise, but there are still many problems in the specific implementation process, such as constraints on the allocation of educational resources, the complexity of policy adaptation to local environments, and conflicts between improving educational equity and quality. This article aims to explore the driving mechanism of regional and national education reform, examine the current situation, and propose specific implementation paths, including strengthening cooperation between regions, promoting the combination of policy localization and regional characteristics, improving education quality, ensuring educational equity, and promoting the sustainable development of regional education. Through the implementation of these paths, it is expected to provide effective reference and inspiration for regional education reform.
