In the context of digital transformation, ideological and political theory courses in higher education face dual demands for innovation in teaching models and improvement in educational effectiveness. This paper focuses on research into the empowerment of ideological and political theory course teaching innovation through digital technology. It analyzes the value and significance of empowering ideological and political theory course teaching with digital technology, as well as the current status of such courses and the challenges in applying digital technology. The paper explores practical approaches to leveraging digital technology for innovative teaching in ideological and political theory courses. By constructing cognitive paradigms for digital ideological and political education, developing multidimensional content for digital ideological and political education, reshaping the professional competence structure of teachers, and building new paradigms for collaborative education, this paper aims to grasp the educational form changes brought about by digital intelligence technology. This will promote innovation and enhance the appeal of ideological and political theory course teaching, thereby better fulfilling the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and talent.
