Research on the application of global history in high school history teaching——Take the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History as an example

The global historical perspective is a historical concept that examines the development of history from a global viewpoint, emphasizing the interconnections and mutual influences among different regions and ethnic groups. Under the basic principles of materialist historiography, the global historical perspective, as an important branch, has been effectively integrated into high school history teaching practices. It plays a crucial role in guiding students to establish an international historical perspective, organizing the threads of historical processes, and promoting the enhancement of their core competencies. On this basis, the necessity of applying the global historical perspective in high school history teaching is discussed. Finally, strategies for implementing the global historical perspective in high school history teaching are proposed, using the "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History" as an example, aiming to provide valuable references for high school history teaching practices in China.
