In recent years, the integration of information technology and education has become a research focus. This study analyzed 1,124 articles from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database (2004 - 2024) using CiteSpace 6.4.R1, aiming to explore the trends and hotspots of the integration of information technology and primary school mathematics in China. The research results show that the research output has been steadily increasing, with main themes including the application of information technology, primary school mathematics teaching, subject integration, and informatization. High-frequency keywords such as "smart classroom" and "core literacy" highlight the shift towards innovative teaching models and student-centered development. The study identified three major research clusters: teaching methods and strategies, integration of information technology and subjects, and educational goals and student development. Future research directions emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration, teacher training, resource optimization, and addressing the digital divide. These findings provide valuable insights for promoting the deep integration of technology and primary school mathematics education, ultimately enhancing teaching quality and student learning outcomes in the digital age.
