With the in-depth development of smart tourism, the tourism industry is increasingly in urgent need of compound talents with innovative thinking, entrepreneurial ability and smart technology application ability, which poses new challenges to the innovation and entrepreneurship education of traditional tourism majors. At present, tourism innovation and entrepreneurship education is confronted with some problems, such as disconnection from the demand of the smart tourism industry, lack of technology integration into the curriculum systems, and formalized practice teaching, making it difficult to meet the requirements of industrial upgrading for talents. Based on the technical features and industrial development logic of smart tourism, and aligned with the core goals of innovation and entrepreneurship education, this paper proposes a three-dimensional integrated educational model framework: “industry demand-ability development-technology integration”, and achieves the deep integration of smart tourism elements and innovation and entrepreneurship education by restructuring the curriculum systems, innovating teaching methods, building practice platforms featuring industry-education integration, and perfecting the assessment mechanisms, aiming to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for developing high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship talents majoring in tourism that can adapt to the development of smart tourism.
