文章摘要
Based on the continuation of traditional scholars’ novels, the scholars’ novels of the new period focus more on the identity, life pursuits, and social responsibility of scholars in contemporary society. This reflects the important position and role of scholars as an intellectual group in modern society, which is evident in the novel’s writing stance and narrative setting. Since the beginning of the new period, scholars’ novels have diversified in their writing stance, while also expressing concern and criticism of social reality. In terms of narrative setting, the creation of scholars’ novels breaks down the barriers between literary research and literary creation, resulting in a work that is both rational and artistic. The style and content characteristics of scholars’ fiction works are shaped by the interaction and mutual influence of these two factors.
