文章摘要
Many writers and works appear in The Sorrows of Young Werther, and it is not difficult to find Goethe’s careful selection and arrangement of Werther’s bibliography when reading the text carefully. The intertextual relationship between Werther and traditional texts not only shows the inner reality of the characters and constitutes their huge spiritual world, but also distil the universal propositions of love and death, behind which surges the writer's subconscious stream.
