Abstract: With the development of society, people’s demand for spirit is growing. As a popular dance in northern China, the “Di Yangko” dance has become a favorite dance among local people. However, due to the lack of professional teachers’ guidance, the inheritance and development of the Han folk dance of the “Di Yangko” dance have been adversely affected. This paper analyzes the origin, function and current situation of the “Di Yangko” dance under the background of urbanization, so as to trigger the reflection on the inheritance and development of the “Di Yangko” folk dance of Han nationality.
