Short video as a new form of media swept the network, its unique way of spreading the influence of the expanding range, in the huge short video user group, college students gradually become the main force. Short video takes advantage of users' herd mentality, desire to escape from the pressure of reality, and pursuit of fast-paced lifestyle. Pursuing the pleasure of self-release in the virtual space has quickly become a new type of "addictive" entertainment. Short video addiction has become one of the common dilemmas faced by college students. Therefore, through a self-administered questionnaire, a survey was conducted on 664 college students in a provincial university in Shaanxi Province to analyze the influence factors of short video addiction based on the current situation of short video addiction and its negative impact on the college students groups. Finally, the "one body, three wings" measures to prevent short video addiction are formed with the individual as one body and the family, school and society as three wings.
