This article explores the cultivation strategies and practical effects of innovative thinking in art and design education. Innovative thinking plays an important role in the field of art and design, and is the key to cultivating excellent designers. This article proposes teaching strategies such as heuristic teaching, interdisciplinary integration, combination of practice and innovation, and reflection and critical thinking by analyzing the theoretical foundation of innovative thinking in depth. By combining practical teaching cases, the significant effects of these strategies in enhancing learners' innovation ability and design level were demonstrated. The research aims to provide useful references for art and design education, in order to more effectively cultivate design talents with innovative thinking and creativity.
