With the rapid development of modern social economy and the unceasing advancement of the education reform, the integration of physical education and general education has become the important policy of educational reform in China. Colleges and universities are important bases to train talents for the country. The quality of physical education in colleges and universities is directly related to the level and quality of the talents cultivated. The concept of integration of sports and education provides a new teaching perspective for college sports. This paper analyzes the significance of college sports reform under the concept of integration of sports and education, analyzes the main problems and challenges faced by the current college sports reform, and puts forward the strategy and path of college sports reform under the background of integration of sports and education, in order to provide suggestions and theoretical support for college sports teaching reform.
