文章摘要
Based on the cultural and social and historical background of ancient Greece, ancient Rome and the whole medieval Europe, combined with the change of social structure, this paper analyzes the evolution and connection of clothing, shape and decoration in various periods. The clothing of ancient Greece reflected the respect for natural beauty and human form, while the evolution of ancient Rome reflected the pursuit of social status and wealth. The costume style of the Middle Ages was closely related to the feudal social structure, from the frugal hidden body to the magnificent and bold naked in the later period. As the carrier of culture and social history, clothing not only shows the aesthetic concept and social structure of The Times, but also affects the development of fashion and artistic expression of later generations.
