The continuous progress of multimedia network technology heralds the arrival of the "era of visual communication". In this context, the visual design of commercials has become indispensable, with the help of visual elements to convey the brand message. In order to keep up with the times, the design of commercials must incorporate innovative technology, use the core elements of visual communication to expand the creative space, and combine multiple strategies to achieve the ultimate goal of commercial communication. Based on this, this paper aims to explore the elements of visual communication in commercial advertising design and explore the design path to improve the effectiveness of advertising.
