During the period of the Republic of China, social development was characterized by a high level of complexity. The Chinese and Western cultures were integrated, and the tea industry continued to develop. In such a historical context, the form, aesthetics and patterns of tea packaging design during the Republic of China have demonstrated the distinctive significance of Chinese tea culture on a global scale. During this period, tea packaging design was progressively liberated from the constraints of solidified feudal culture, achieving remarkable artistic milestones. An examination of tea packaging design during the Republic of China can potentially invigorate the contemporary tea packaging design industry and facilitate its advancement.
