As a unique art form created by various ethnic groups in long-term production and life practice, ethnic dance not only carries rich historical and cultural connotations, but also is an important carrier of ethnic cultural identity and inheritance. Today, with the increasingly frequent globalization and cultural exchanges, the inheritance and modern development of national dance have become a topic of great concern. It is found that the inheritance of national dance art not only needs the protection and inheritance of traditional skills and forms of expression, but also needs to seek the convergence point with modern society in innovation to meet the needs of the development of the times. This paper mainly discusses the inheritance of national dance art and the innovative path of modernization development, so as to provide ideas for the inheritance and development of national dance art.
