With the increase of social demand for innovative talents, college education is facing new challenges in cultivating students comprehensive quality and innovative ability. As an important way to cultivate students aesthetic ability and humanistic quality, aesthetic education is particularly important to integrate with the teaching of art design. This paper will discuss the background, significance, current situation, problems and implementation strategies of the integration of aesthetic education and art design, aiming to provide a new perspective and ideas for college education.
