The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out the need to implement quality education to cultivate talents with good qualities.In today's society,drama education is an emerging discipline that meets the needs of high-quality talents in China.The primary and secondary school stage of quality education is an important period for the formation of teenagers' outlook on life,values,and worldview[1].It can be seen that the construction of drama disciplines in primary and secondary schools is particularly important.This article will start with the construction of drama education majors in primary and secondary schools in China,and discuss the significance of the development of drama education in primary and secondary schools,the curriculum standards of drama education in primary and secondary schools in China,and the basic models of drama education curriculum in primary and secondary schools,aiming to provide a modest contribution to the construction of drama education discipline.
