Color is an objective yet material form, with conceptual metaphors rooted in cognitive experiences varying by culture. This study, utilizing conceptual metaphor and integration theories, analyzes "red," "green," and "white" in English (BNC) and Chinese (SLC). It explores their metaphorical similarities and differences, enhancing understanding of their target domains and offering insights to boost learners' intercultural communication skills.
