As an important base for cultivating innovative talents, colleges and universities have an unshirkable responsibility and obligation to cultivate the innovative ability of college students. Campus culture is the culture with distinctive campus characteristics, which is inherited, created, accumulated and shared by teachers and students in the long-term practice of education and teaching management and service according to the needs of social development. Culture and innovation are inextricably linked. Without cultural conditions, the cultivation of innovative ability will become a castle in the air. This paper strives to put forward effective and reasonable suggestions for the construction of campus culture in colleges and universities, which is beneficial for colleges and universities to further clarify their school-running ideas, renew their educational concepts, deepen their educational reforms, and optimize their educational environment and atmosphere. At the same time, it is also of great significance to enrich the theoretical and practical research on the cultivation of college students'innovative ability.
