Chinese language teaching is actively exploring new teaching models and methods in the context of educational information. As two integrated information-based teaching methods, micro-courses and MOOCs have injected remarkable vitality into teaching the Chinese language. Micro-courses are renowned for their concise content, well-defined objectives, and efficient approach to acquiring advanced proficiency in Chinese. In contrast, MOOCs, rooted in openness and sharing, offer rich learning materials and interactive platforms, facilitating extensive communication and in-depth exploration regarding learning Chinese. This paper focuses primarily on the integration mode of micro-courses and MOOCs in the teaching and learning Chinese language and culture in an information-based environment.
