After entering university, students need to face and handle more things on their own, and due to changes in the surrounding environment and the mutual influence of different lifestyle habits, it can have a certain impact on their psychology and emotions. According to the questionnaire survey conducted by our university, college students have varying degrees of psychological problems, and mental health education for college students plays a crucial role in the higher education system. In view of this, from the perspective of ideological and political education, based on the analysis of importance and problems, this article focuses on exploring strategies for college students' mental health education from three aspects: infrastructure construction, integration of ideological and political elements, and resolution of major psychological problems. It is hoped that this can provide experiential support for teachers to promote curriculum reform and jointly explore methods to improve the quality of college students' mental health education.
