Core literacy is an important direction for education reform in the new era, emphasizing the comprehensive development of students in terms of knowledge, abilities, and values. As an important carrier for cultivating students' aesthetic ability, cultural understanding, and innovative thinking, the construction of the evaluation system for high school art teaching is directly related to the achievement of teaching objectives. Based on the perspective of core literacy, this article systematically analyzes the shortcomings of the current high school art teaching evaluation system and proposes a strategy for constructing an evaluation system guided by core literacy. The aim is to promote the improvement of students' comprehensive literacy and the optimization of teachers' professional abilities through a diverse and dynamic evaluation mechanism.
