This study focuses on the interdisciplinary theme teaching practice in primary schools based on core competencies, and explores its implementation path and value in the context of curriculum reform. By analyzing the limitations of traditional subject based teaching and combining it with the theoretical framework of interdisciplinary thematic learning, this study reveals its unique role in promoting the development of students' core competencies. The study proposes to construct implementation strategies from four dimensions: cognitive foundation, task driven, curriculum mode optimization, and long-term design, and elaborates on the specific methods of thematic teaching design through teaching practice. Finally, the feasibility of interdisciplinary thematic teaching was summarized through empirical cases, providing theoretical support and practical reference for primary education.
